Lotte Wubben-Moy has been selected for England's 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup squad, which takes place this summer in Australia and New Zealand.
This will be Lotte's first World Cup and her second major tournament with the Lionesses after last summer's European Championships triumph. She was also part of Team GB's reserve squad for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Our defender has represented her country throughout senior and youth level, even captaining the U17 Lionesses to a third-place finish in the 2016 U17 European Championships.
Head coach Sarina Wiegman named her squad of 23 on Wednesday afternoon. Her side has recently been blighted by injuries, including our own Leah Williamson and Beth Mead.
Lionesses captain Leah Williamson is in the midst of her recovery from an ACL rupture and Beth Mead, who suffered the same injury as Leah back in November, is also still in rehabilitation.
England's confirmed squad:
Goalkeepers: Mary Earps, Hannah Hampton, Hannah Roebuck
Defenders: Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Jess Carter, Niamh Charles, Alex Greenwood, Esme Morgan, Lotte Wubben-Moy
Midfielders: Laura Coombs, Jordan Nobbs, Georgia Stanway, Ella Toone, Keira Walsh, Katie Zelem
Forwards: Rachel Daly, Beth England, Lauren Hemp, Lauren James, Chloe Kelly, Alessia Russo
