Loan Watch: Willock scores against Tottenham

Six of our senior players were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend - but how did they perform?

Read on to find out:

Joe Willock came off the bench to score an 85th-minute equaliser for Newcastle United against Tottenham on Sunday. Joelinton had given the Magpies an early lead but Harry Kane's brace turned the game on its head.

Spurs looked to be heading for the win but after being introduced in the 79th minute, Willock reacted quickest to fire into the roof of the net and secure a vital point for Newcastle.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles played the full 90 minutes of West Bromwich Albion's shock 5-2 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Christian Pulisic had got the Blues off to a perfect start but Thiago Silva's red card inside the half-hour mark allowed West Brom to come back.

First Matheus Pereira struck twice at the end of the first half, before Callum Robinson netted a brace and Mbaye Diagne got in on the act. Mason Mount pulled one back for the hosts but the damage had already been done, and Sam Allardyce's side picked up a vital three points in the hunt for Premier League survival.

In France, William Saliba played the entirety of Nice's 2-1 win at Nantes in Ligue 1. Abdoulaye Toure struck on the half-hour mark for the hosts, but Kasper Dolberg's quick-fire double proved enough for Adrian Ursea's side to claim victory on the road.

Sead Kolasinac played the full 90 minutes in midfield as Schalke slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Bayer Leverkusen. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's 81st-minute strike proved to be in vain as the visitors fell to earlier goals from Lucas Alario and Patrik Schick. Schalke are now 13 points adrift at the bottom of the Bundesliga.

There was better news in Germany for Dinos Mavropanos, though, who helped Stuttgart keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 win over Werder Bremen. Ludwig Augustinsson's 81st-minute own goal gifted VfB the win as they moved up to eighth in the table.

Matteo Guendouzi played 79 minutes as Hertha were held to a 1-1 draw in the Berlin derby. Robert Andrich opened the scoring for Union inside 10 minutes, but Dodi Lukebakio's penalty ensured the spoils were shared following a feisty affair in the capital.
