Loan Watch: Osei-Tutu continues scoring form

German football continued this week, giving our youngsters another opportunity to impress for their loan clubs.

Scroll down to find out how two of our loanees got on:

After helping Bochum keep a clean sheet in their goalless draw at Karlsruher on Sunday, Jordi Osei-Tutu scored in their 2-1 win over Holstein Kiel on Wednesday.

Our defender, continuing his role further up the right flank, opened the scoring by firing Milos Pantovic's pass into the bottom corner for his third goal in five games.

Silvere Ganvoula made it 2-0 after half-time and despite Jonas Meffert's late strike, Bochum held on to secure three points and rise to 10th in the 2. Bundesliga.

Dinos Mavropanos was also in midweek action in the German second tier, playing the full 90 minutes of Nurnberg's 2-2 draw at Jahn Regensburg.

Mikael Ishak put Mavropanos' side ahead, before Andreas Albers equalised on the stroke of half-time. Sebastian Stolze looked to have turned the tie on its head when he struck for the hosts, but Tim Knipping's last-minute own goal ensured that Nurnberg didn't leave empty-handed.

Our youngsters face off for the very first time this weekend, when Bochum travel to Nurnberg on Saturday. Kick-off is at 12pm (UK time).
