Loan Watch: Mavropanos scores for Stuttgart

Nine of our players were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend - but how did they perform? Read on to find out:

Dinos Mavropanos scored for Stuttgart on Saturday in their 3-2 defeat to Freiburg in the Bundesliga.

Woo-Yeong Jeong hit two in the opening nine minutes for Freiburg before Lucas Holer added a third on the half-hour mark.

Mavropanos then grabbed his first league goal of the season before Hamadi Al Ghaddioui completed the scoring on the stroke of half-time. The result leaves Stuttgart 13th in the table after three games.

Matteo Guendouzi was on target for Marseille as they beat St Etienne 3-1 at home on Saturday. Our 23-year-old midfielder opened the scoring after good work from Konrad de La Fuente to create the chance.

St Etienne hit back through Timothee Kolodziejczak after 32 minutes before goals from Gerson and Cengiz Under secured the points.

William Saliba also featured, playing the full game as Marseille won their second match of the season.

Harry Clarke played the entire game as Ross County drew 1-1 with Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday. The result gives Malky Mackay's side their first point of the new campaign after losing to Hibernian and Rangers in their opening two matches.

Matt Smith was also in action this weekend. He played the full game as Doncaster lost 2-0 to Rotherham at The New York Stadium.

Dejan Iliev played the entire match and kept a clean sheet as Sered drew 0-0 with Trencin in the Slovakian Fortuna liga this weekend. Sered have picked up five points from five games this season and currently sit ninth in the table.

Nikolaj Moller played 28 minutes as Viktoria Koln beat Freiburg II 3-1 on Saturday. The result gives Viktoria Koln their first win of the season, leaving them 18th in the league after six matches.

Elsewhere, Daniel Ballard played the full game as Millwall beat Blackpool 2-1 at The Den. Goals from Jed Wallace and Jake Cooper secured victory for the home side after Shayne Lavery's opener.

Tyreece John-Jules also featured in the match, playing just three minutes as a late substitute for the visitors.
