Sambi Lokonga played 90 minutes as Sevilla won 1-0 at home to Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

It was his eighth appearance in midfield this season.

Djibril Sow scored the only goal of the game before Unai Lopez was sent off for the visitors on the brink of half-time

Sevilla are 12th in La Liga with 18 points from 14 games.

In the Premier League, Reiss Nelson started Fulham's surprise 4-1 home defeat to Wolves at Craven Cottage.

Nelson was a bright spark in the first half, almost creating the opener before former Gunner Alex Iwobi netted a superb long-range strike.

But Wolves came back in the second half and Reiss was replaced by Adama Traore on 71 minutes.

In Portgual, Fabio Vieira played 90 minutes of FC Porto's 2-1 defeat away to Moreirense in the Taca de Portugal on Sunday.

Pepe put Porto ahead but goals from Luis Nlavo and Alan turned the game around for the home side.

After returning from international duty with Estonia, goalkeeper Karl Hein couldn't prevent Real Valladolid from slipping to a 2-0 away defeat at Getafe.

Hein had kept the hosts at bay until two goals in three minutes late on from Alvaro Rodriguez and Allan Nyom gave Getafe the victory.

In women's football, Michelle Agyemang played 90 minutes of Brighton & Hove Albion's 0-0 draw at home to Leicester City in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup, which the Foxes won 4-3 on penalties.

The Seagulls remain top of Group D with four points from two games.
