Eleven of our players were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend - but how did they perform? Read on to find out:
Zech Medley scored his first goal for Kilmarnock on Saturday. Our 20-year-old defender tapped home at the back post from Kyle Lafferty's cross to end their eight-game losing streak in the Scottish Premier League. Medley's 63rd-minute strike cancelled out Adrian Sporle's deflected opener to leave Kilmarnock 11th in the table after 31 games.
Over in Germany, Sead Kolasinac was also on the scoresheet. Our left-back scored Schalke's only goal in their 5-1 defeat to Stuttgart on Saturday as his side were handsomely beaten in the Bundesliga.
Dinos Mavropanos also featured in the game, playing the full 90 minutes for Stuttgart as his side closed the gap on ninth-placed Borussia Monchengladbach to one point.
William Saliba played the full match as Nice beat Rennes 2-1 in Ligue 1. Goals from Amine Gouiri and Flavius Daniliuc either side of Martin Terrier's 39th-minute strike were enough to earn Saliba's side all three points at Roazhon Park.
Matteo Guendouzi played 37 minutes as Hertha Berlin lost 2-0 to Wolfsburg on Saturday. Our 21-year-old midfielder replaced Sami Khedira in the second half but couldn't prevent his side from slipping to back-to-back defeats in the league.
Lucas Torreira played eight minutes as Atletico Madrid beat Villarreal 2-0 in La Liga. An own goal from Alfonso Pedraza and a late Joao Felix strike handed Diego Simeone's side all three points.
Joe Willock played the full match as Newcastle drew 1-1 with Wolves at St. James' Park. Jamaal Lascelles opened the scoring for Steve Bruce's side before Ruben Neves scored his first-ever Premier League header to equalise.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles played the full 90 minutes as West Brom beat Brighton 1-0 in a relegation six-pointer at The Hawthorns. Kyle Bartley's 11th-minute strike was enough to secure the points as Graham Potter's side missed two penalties and had a goal ruled out by VAR.
Harry Clarke played the full match as Oldham beat Carlisle 3-1 in League Two. Joshua Kayode opened the scoring at Brunton Park before Marcel Hilssner, Dylan Bahamboula and Carl Piergianni all notched for the visitors.
Matt Smith played 45 minutes for Charlton in their 3-0 defeat to Blackpool at The Valley this weekend. Two penalties from Jerry Yates and a third goal from Mathew Virtue-Thick settled the game after the Addicks had two men sent off.
Daniel Ballard also featured, playing the full match for Blackpool as Neil Critchley's men made it three wins on the bounce in League One.
