Loan Watch: Clarke scores for Ross County

Harry Clarke

Ten of our players were in action over the weekend for their respective loan clubs.

Read on to find out how they performed:

Harry Clarke scored a rocket for Ross County in their 3-2 loss to Livingston in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Our 20-year-old midfielder opened the scoring from distance with a low arrowed effort into the bottom corner to bag his second league goal of the season.

Bruce Anderson and Odin Bailey then hit back to give Livingston the lead at the break before Ross Callachan levelled the scores from 12 yards after the hour mark.

There was to be late heartbreak for Clarke's side, though. Tom Parkes returned to action for the first time since July to score a 95th-minute winner at the Global Energy Stadium.

Hector Bellerin played the full match as Real Betis beat Vallecano 3-2 at home on Sunday. Betis went 2-0 up inside the opening 24 minutes through Alex Moreno and Juanmi.

The visitors then fought their way back into the game with goals from Randy Nteka and Alvaro Garcia before Willian Jose converted a late penalty to secure the win for Bellerin's side.

William Saliba played the full match and kept a clean sheet as Marseille drew 0-0 with PSG at home. The draw leaves Marseille fourth in table after picking up 18 points from 10 games this season.

Matteo Guendouzi was also in action for Marseille, starting his fourth league game in a row.

Lucas Torreira played 81 for Fiorentina in their 3-0 win over Cagliari this weekend. The win leaves Fiorentina seventh in Serie A after nine games.

Dan Ballard played the full match as Millwall beat Stoke 2-1 in the Championship on Saturday. Romaine Sawyers scored the games opening goal before a second-half brace from Tom Bradshaw gave Gary Rowett's side all three points at The Den.

Matt Smith played 83 minutes as Doncaster beat Cheltenham 3-2 at home on Saturday. Our 21-year-old midfielder made his first start in League One since a heavy defeat to Ipswich on September 28.

Dinos Mavropanos played the full match as Stuttgart drew 1-1 with Union Berlin on Sunday. Taiwo Awoniyi opened the scoring for the visitors before a 93rd-minute Wahidullah Faghir goal rescued a point for our loanees side.

Nikolaj Moller played 13 minutes for Viktoria Koln in their 1-0 win over Dortmund II on Sunday. Daniel Buballa's 27th-minute strike was enough to earn Moller's side all three points at the Stadion Rote Erde.

Reiss Nelson was also in action this weekend, playing the closing stages for Feyenoord in their 3-2 win over Cambuur in the Eredivisie.
