Nine of our players were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend - but how did they perform? Read on to find out:

Hector Bellerin provided his first assist for Real Betis in their 2-2 draw with Espanyol this weekend.

Aleix Vidal opened the scoring for Vicente Moreno's side before Willian Jose levelled the game after 41 minutes.

Bellerin then set up his side’s second goal deep into added time at the end of the first half. Our 26-year-old right-back did well to keep the ball in play before pulling it back to Nabil Fekir, who curled into the bottom corner to restore his side's advantage before the break.

Espanyol left it late, but in the 97th minute, they found parity through defender Leandro Cabrera. The 30-year-old smashed home his first goal of the season to share the points.

Miguel Azeez made his first appearance for Portsmouth on Saturday as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Cambridge United at Fratton Park.

Goals from Joe Ironside and Liam O'Neil put the visitors 2-0 up before Ronan Curtis bagged a late consolation. Louis Thompson replaced Azeez after the hour mark.

William Saliba played the full match and kept a clean sheet as Marseille beat Rennes 2-0 at the Stade Velodrome. The win leaves Saliba's side second in Ligue 1 after five matches, with a game in hand over leaders PSG.

Matteo Guendouzi also featured for Marseille in the game but was replaced after 77 minutes by Gerson.

Tyreece John-Jules played 70 minutes as Blackpool beat Middlesbrough 2-1 on Saturday. Marcus Tavernier opened the scoring before Marvin Ekpiteta's clever finish and Grant Hall's own goal gave the visitors all three points.

Matt Smith played the full game as Doncaster beat Morcambe 1-0 at home this weekend. Tommy Rowe scored the game's only goal with nine minutes to play to give Rovers their first win of the season.

Daniel Ballard played the full match as Millwall drew 1-1 with Coventry at home on Saturday. The result leaves them 18th in the Championship, having picked up eight points from eight games this term.

Dinos Mavropanos played the full game as Stuttgart lost 3-1 to Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday. Robert Andrich and Patrik Schick gave the visitors a 2-0 lead before Andrich was sent off for a nasty challenge after half an hour.

Orel Mangala managed to pull one back for the hosts before the break before Florian Wirtz rounded off proceedings with Leverkusen's third in the second half.

And finally, Dejan Iliev played the full match as Sered lost 2-0 on Friday. Goals from Saymon Cabral and Kelvin Boateng settled this one.
