Nine of our players were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend - but how did they perform? Read on to find out:
Daniel Ballard scored his second goal of the season for Blackpool as they won 2-0 at Oxford in League One on Saturday. Kenny Dougall gave the visitors the lead, before Ballard headed in from close range just before half time.
Joe Willock made his seventh appearance of the season for Newcastle, playing 62 minutes of their 3-0 defeat to Brighton. The result leaves Steve Bruce’s side just above the relegation zone, after goals from Leandro Trossard, Danny Welbeck and Neal Maupay condemned them to defeat.
Over in Germany, Sead Kolasinac is also in a fight against relegation but Schalke look doomed after the Bundesliga’s bottom club were beaten 3-0 at home by Borussia Monchengladbach. The result leaves Kolasinac’s side 14 points away from safety with eight games remaining.
It was a tough day in the Bundesliga for Dinos Mavropanos too, as his Stuttgart side went down 4-0 on the road at leaders Bayern Munich.
There was better news for Matteo Guendouzi though, as his Hertha Berlin side won 3-0 at home against Bayer Leverkusen.
In France, William Saliba played the full 90 minutes as Nice drew 1-1 on the road at Lorient. The visitors took the lead through Myziane Maolida just before the hour mark, before Yoane Wissa equalised.
Back in England, Harry Clarke played the full 90 minutes for Oldham and helped them keep a clean sheet as they drew 0-0 at Bradford.
Ben Sheaf came off the bench with eight minutes remaining of Coventry’s goalless draw with Wycombe.
