He’s excelled at the World Cup - and Bukayo Saka can count Arsenal legend Liam Brady on his long list of admirers.
Our current No 7 came through at Hale End, where Brady - an iconic No 7 during his playing days with us - played a key role in his role as head of youth development.
“I’m enormously proud of Bukayo - he’s become a great young man,” Brady told Arsenal.com. “He’s an absolutely brilliant player, who I love watching. He’s always had his feet on the ground, and so have his family.
“They’ve had an ambition to improve throughout the years. Great players don’t stop wanting to improve. He’s in that category and I can still see him getting better and better.”
