Josh Robinson has joined League One side, Wigan Athletic in a permanent transfer.
The 20 year old joined our academy in March 2016 at the age of 11 and progressed at Hale End before signing his first professional contract with the club in July 2023.
England youth international Josh has made 65 appearances for our academy at U-18 and U-21 level.
The versatile defender has already made 13 appearances in all competitions this campaign for our under-21s scoring and assisting both twice.
Josh’s hard work has been rewarded with first-team involvement, featuring as an unused substitute in four of our six UEFA Champions League league phase games this season.
We thank Josh for his contribution to the club during his time with us and wish him all the best for his next chapter with Wigan Athletic.
The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
