'It’s a privilege to help Nobbs develop'

You'll have to go a long way to find a more complete midfielder than Jordan Nobbs.

Our vice-captain has become an integral part of our squad since arriving in north London in 2010.

But Joe Montemurro believes there is even more to come from Nobbs in the future.

"She’s an important role model because I think the best way of being an important role model in the way we do things is by actions, and she does it every day," our head coach told Arsenal Player.

"She does it with her professionalism, she does it with her training stimulus and she does it on the park. She’s a leader that leads by example, and I think she’s a really important part of the group and a really important part of the learning process that we’re trying to instil here.

"Football aside, she’s an amazing person and a great girl. It’s incredible that someone of her stature and of her notoriety in English football is still wanting to learn and still wanting to develop.

"That to me tells me everything about her humility and her ability to want to keep becoming better. I’m really privileged for her to get better and become a world class player, or an even better world class player, under my tutelage here at Arsenal."
