'It's a dream... I have the passion on the pitch'

Saka

Tuesday evening was another memorable one for Bukayo Saka.

After netting his fifth Premier League goal of the season, our Hale End graduate set up Alex Lacazette to extend our advantage and secure a comfortable 3-1 win on the south coast.

And in doing so, Saka has now scored more goals than all other Premier League teenagers combined.

"I'm just happy to be playing for Arsenal," he said. "It's a dream so I just have the passion when I get on the pitch. The boss makes everything clear for me and at the same time gives me the freedom to go and do what I want to do in the final third. I'm really happy with that stat and I just want to keep improving on it every game.

"It was much better tonight. Saturday was disappointing for us to be knocked out of the FA Cup. We're the holders of that so we took it hard. We came here, we knew their weaknesses, we exploited them well and got the victory we deserved.

"I spoke to Laca before the game about the opportunity for my goal," Saka added. "As soon as he gets the ball, I was going to run in behind and he listened, we got a goal, so I was happy with that.

"Game after game, we take it. I know everyone always says that but we have to do that because this year the Premier League's changing so rapidly. A couple of months ago we were in the bottom half but now we're in the top half and it can change so quickly. We just have to focus on every game and try to win each one."
