Internationals: Who's playing and when?

Nicolas Pepe

A number of our first-team stars will be in international action over the November break.

After we announced that Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock would be joining up with England Under-21s this month, here's who else will be involved:
Lucas Torreira has been named in the Uruguay squad for their international friendlies against Hungary in Budapest on Friday, November 15 and Argentina in Tel Aviv on Monday, November 18.
Emi Martinez will be hoping to feature for Argentina on that day, and also in their international friendly against Brazil in Riyadh on Friday, November 15.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been called up to the Gabon squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against DR Congo on Thursday, November 14 and Angola on Sunday, November 17.
Nicolas Pepe has been included in the Ivory Coast squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Niger on Saturday, November 16 and Ethiopia on Tuesday, November 19.

Bernd Leno has been called up to the Germany squad for their European Championship qualifiers against Belarus on Saturday, November 16 and Northern Ireland on Tuesday, November 19.
Matteo Guendouzi has been named in France squad for their European Championship qualifiers against Moldova in Paris on Thursday, November 14 and Albania in Tirana on Sunday, November 17. Our midfielder was initially with the under-21s but was called up to the senior squad by Didier Deschamps to replace the injured Blaise Matuidi.
Sead Kolasinac has been called up for Bosnia & Herzegovina's European Championship qualifiers against Italy in Zenica on Friday, November 15 and Liechtenstein in Vaduz on Monday, November 18.

And Gabriel Martinelli has been named in the Brazil Under-23 squad for their friendly against the United States in Gran Canaria on Thursday, November 14. They will play a second fixture on Sunday, November 17. The opponent will be confirmed in due course.

Internationals: Nelson scores for England U-21s

Another five players were in action for their respective countries on Friday night. Scroll down to find out how they got on:

Reiss Nelson scored the third and final goal in England Under-21s' win over Albania in Shkoder. Phil Foden opened the scoring from a direct free-kick after just 22 minutes, with Conor Gallagher adding a second before the break.

Nelson then replaced fellow Hale End graduate Joe Willock on the hour mark and slotted home the Young Lions' final goal from close range. The result takes England to the top of Group 3 on goal difference, with a perfect record after four games.

Our duo will be hoping to be in action again on Tuesday, in an international friendly against Netherlands at 5.30pm (UK time).

Reiss Nelson

Granit Xhaka played the full 90 minutes of Switzerland's crucial European Championship qualifying win over Georgia. After a goalless first 77 minutes it looked like the hosts would have to settle for a point in St Gallen, but then Cedric Itten struck with just 13 minutes remaining to secure a late victory.

The three points sees Switzerland leapfrog Republic of Ireland into second place in Group D with just one game to go. But Xhaka and co will fancy their chances, with their group rivals having to face leaders Denmark, while Switzerland travel to winless Gibraltar on Monday at 7.45pm (UK time).

Sead Kolasinac played the entirety of Bosnia & Herzegovina's 3-0 defeat to Italy. Francesco Acerbi, Lorenzo Insigne and Andrea Belotti were all on target in Zenica to end the hosts' hopes of qualification.

Bosnia & Herzegovina's final Group J game takes place on Monday at 7.45pm (UK time), when they travel to Liechtenstein. Italy and Finland have both qualified for the tournament finals in 2020.

Emiliano Martinez was an unused substitute as Argentina beat Brazil in Riyadh. Lionel Messi scored after just 13 minutes to claim bragging rights in Saudi Arabia.

Argentina are next in action when they face Uruguay in Tel Aviv at 7.15pm (UK time) on Monday.

Lucas Torreira will be hoping to feature for the Celeste after playing his part in his country's win over Hungary in Budapest. Our midfielder played the final 22 minutes as goals from Edinson Cavani and Brian Rodriguez were enough to win the friendly in the Hungarian capital.

Another two of our players could be in action on Saturday. Nicolas Pepe's Ivory Coast face Niger at 7pm, before Bernd Leno's Germany host Belarus at 7.45pm (both times UK).
