Cedric Soares played the full match and provided an assist as Portugal drew 2-2 with Serbia in controversial circumstances on Saturday. Cristiano Ronaldo stormed off the pitch after Portugal were denied a late winner in World Cup Qualifying Group A, leaving them second in the table. 

Kieran Tierney played the duration of Scotland's 1-1 draw against Israel in Tel-Aviv this weekend. Dor Peretz opened the scoring before Ryan Fraser struck back in the second half for Steve Clarke's side.

Daniel Ballard played for 79 minutes as Northern Ireland lost 2-1 in a home friendly against the USA in Belfast.

After missing Ghana's 1-1 draw with South Africa because of coronavirus travel restrictions, Thomas Partey played the full match as the Black Stars beat Sao Tome and Principe 3-1 on Sunday. Ghana had already qualified for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations but rounded off their campaign in style with an impressive victory in Group C. 

Nicolas Pepe played the entire game as Ivory Coast beat Niger 3-0 on Friday to progress to the Finals of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Goals from Serge Aurier, Max Gradel and Wilfried Kanon saw the Elephants qualify for the latter stages of the tournament in Cameroon due to their superior head-to-head record over Madagascar.

Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe saw their difficult start to the European Under-21 Championship continue with a 2-0 defeat to Portugal on Sunday. 

England must now beat Croatia and hope Portugal defeat Switzerland to have any chance of progressing from Group D.

Matteo Guendouzi also featured in the same tournament. Our midfielder played seven minutes for France as goals from Odsonne Edouard and Jonathan Ikone secured a 2-0 win over Russia.
