Four more of our players were in international action on Sunday night. Scroll down to find out how they got on.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan claimed two goals and an assist, while Sead Kolasinac also set one up as Armenia beat Bosnia & Herzegovina 4-2 in Euro 2020 qualifying. The hosts made the perfect start when the midfielder found space in the box and coolly slotted home. Edin Dzeko hit back to level the score at half-time but Mkhitaryan grabbed his brace in the 66th minute with a clinical finish.
Four minutes later, Kolasinac set-up Amer Gojak to level once again before Mkhitaryan turned provider as Hovhannes Hambardzumyan restored Armenia’s lead.
The hosts wrapped up all three points when Stjepan Loncar scored an unfortunate own goal, lifting them to third in Group J and above Bosnia and Herzegovina in fourth.
Granit Xhaka played 75 minutes and registered an assist as Switzerland swept past Gibraltar. Goals from Denis Zakaria, Admir Mehmedi, Ricardo Rodriguez and Mario Gavranovic sealed a 4-0 victory.
Greece were pegged back late on by Liechtenstein as Sokratis played 90 minutes in Athens. Giorgos Masouras had given the hosts the lead but Dennis Salanovic scored with five minutes remaining to snatch a point.
Finally, Dani Ceballos was an unused substitute as Spain beat Faroe Islands 4-0.
We could have three players in action on Monday. Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson could both feature when England Under-21s face Kosovo at 7.45pm (UK time) while Bernd Leno’s Germany travel to Northern Island at the same time.
