We had four Gunners in international action on Friday. Read on to find out how they fared for their countries.
Lucas Torreira played the entirety of Uruguay’s 1-0 friendly loss to Brazil at Emirates Stadium.
Torreira delivered an energetic midfield display, but he couldn’t prevent his side slipping to defeat.
Diego Laxalt was adjudged to have fouled Danilo inside the box - and Neymar made no mistake in converting from 12 yards.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan assisted twice as Armenia won 6-2 against Gibraltar in the Nations League.
Tjay De Barr opened the scoring for Gibraltar, but the two sides were level at the break thanks to Yura Movsisyan.
Movsisyan then went on to score three goals in less than 10 minutes following the restart, with Mkhitaryan assisting the third. Artur Kartashyan made it five with a simple finish from close range before Mkhitaryan picked out Alexander Kareptyan for their final goal of the evening. Adam Priestly pulled one back for the hosts in the 78th minute, but it was only a consolation.
Aaron Ramsey played 90 minutes as Wales lost 2-1 to Denmark in the UEFA Nations League.
Nicolai Jorgensen gave the visitors the lead just three minutes before the break. They then doubled their advantage in the 88th minute through Martin Braithwaite.
Gareth Bale reduced the deficit with less than a minute left on the clock, but Wales were unable to find an equaliser.
Mohamed Elneny started as Egypt ran out 3-2 winners over Tunisia in their African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Naim Sliti gave Tunisia the lead inside the 14th minute, before Trezeguet equalised for the hosts on the half-hour mark.
Following the break, Baher El Mohamady fired Egypt in front, but Sliti went on to grab his second of the evening in the 72nd minute.
Deep into stoppage time Mohamed Salah secured all three points for Egypt with a fine finish.
