Inside the matchday programme: Leicester City

Arsenal v Leicester City programme

The opening home game of the Premier League stadium at Emirates Stadium means a brand new matchday programme, and this season we've brought back to big guns!

By popular demand, there will be a giant 68cm x 46cm poster in every programme next season. For our first issue of the season, we had to include the already-iconic image of Gabriel Jesus on the Emirates roof, while the poster section also contains loads of other great content about our new number nine.

And with a new man wearing the armband, the Captain’s Notes are back which means you'll hear exclusively from Martin Odegaard throughout the 2022/23 season.

More exclusive player content comes in the form of our ‘Inspirational’ interview, where the first-team stars will tell you all about their inspirations and influences in a ‘long read’ feature. Hear from the ever-popular Mo Elneny in the Leicester edition.

What have Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah got in common? The answer is of course that their very first Arsenal interviews were ‘Young Gun’ features in the matchday programme, and we will continue to provide a platform for our academy in 22/23 – starting with 16-year-old keeper, Brian Okonkwo.

'Inside Job' will find out more from some of our many staff members with interesting roles at the club, while 'Minute Detail' finds our goals in the Premier League era from the first minute to the 90th - and speaking of numbers, there’s loads of statistical content in the programme across all our teams.

As always, we want our supporters to feature prominantly in the programme, and our new 'My Arsenal Shirt' feature focuses on a fan’s all-time favourite shirt from down the years – email yours to programme@arsenal.co.uk.

Elsewhere our fantastic Arsenal Women have three pages of content (as well as their own matchday programmes of course) and there are powerful voices from Arsenal in the Community participants and those helped by the Arsenal Foundation too.

Lastly, we continue the programme’s trailblazing sustainability work. For the second season, we will be purchasing 12,500 trees to populate our Arsenal Forest, offsetting the amount of carbon created during the production of the issue, and we will be asking supporters for the environmental changes they have made on matchday as well as looking at some of the club’s many sustainability schemes

The programme is priced at £4 and available from our new team of sellers at the ground, who will selling before the game but also at half-time and after the match too. They are also available in all of the club shops ,and don’t forget you can subscribe to the programme to guarantee you receive every issue – these should arrive with you on or before the day of the game in the UK.
