Important travel update – AC Milan (a)

San Siro - AC Milan

We have been informed of a series of transport strikes in Milan on Thursday, which could impact supporters travelling to and from the San Siro.

A strike has been called from 1-5pm (local time) on Thursday afternoon at Milano Malpensa Airport, Milano Linate Airport and Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport by air traffic control and airport ground staff. Please contact your airline provider if this could affect your travel arrangements.

Workers on Milan’s public transport system have also called a strike between the hours of 8.45am-3pm and 6pm - the end of the service (local times). Italian authorities are recommending supporters travel to the San Siro between 3-6pm, by either Line 1 (Red Line) or Line 5 (Purple Line), and leave plenty of time for their journeys.

AC Milan have advised us that Arsenal supporters will be held back for up to 45 minutes at the end of the match, for the safety of all fans. We are arranging coaches from the San Siro to Piazza Castello in the city centre after the game, to help as many supporters as possible with their journeys.

We wish everyone travelling to Milan a safe journey. Thank you for your support.
