We recently delivered a coaching clinic for our Official Women's Beauty Partner, IL MAKIAGE. The session was hosted for girls from our Arsenal Community groups aged between 16-18 years.
This has been found to be the age group at which girls are most likely to drop out of sport. Throughout the session there was a focus on encouraging and inspiring this key age bracket to keep up their participation in football.
As part of the session Arsenal legend, Rachel Yankey shared her skills and advice with the girls. Rachel provided invaluable guidance to the participants. Adding to the excitement we had a surprise visit from our AWFC players Teyah Goldie, Laura Wienroither & Kaylan Marckese who helped in making the event even more memorable and inspiring for the Community group.
We were delighted to hear that the session was incredibly well received and was a really unique and special moment for our local community groups.
