Auba on what it means to reach the Europa League final…
It meant a lot. I think we’ve learnt from last season and this year we didn’t make the same mistakes. Now we are through to the final and we are all happy.
Laca on the team’s character at 1-0 down…
We reacted well. We knew we needed to score a minimum of one goal today - so thanks to Auba for the hat-trick! He was unbelievable tonight, so thank you, bro!
Auba on how much he and Laca enjoy playing together…
We enjoy it a lot. We’ve talked a lot about that relationship already, and it’s a pleasure to play with him and this team. Above all, when you win games like this, you feel very, very good.
Laca on the Europa League giving us a chance of Champions League football…
Yeah, we want to play in the Champions League and we want to win this trophy. We’ve played badly in the last month in the Premier League, so we have to be better now. We’re going to the final, so we have to use this opportunity to win and go to the Champions League.
