On arrival to Emirates Stadium, ticket holders aged 18 and over may be asked to provide proof of COVID-19 certification.
We are working together with the Government, Local Authorities and Premier League to keep supporters at football this season and to keep everyone safe.
Please note, COVID Certification spot checks are part of our efforts to prepare fans for potential future entry procedures and under the current guidance, demonstrating COVID-19 certification is not mandatory. Therefore, it is not currently a condition of entry to the stadium and we will inform ticket holders if there is any change in policy regarding the requirement to demonstrate COVID certification.
To demonstrate COVID-19 status before entering Emirate Stadium, fans should provide proof of either:
- full vaccination (+14 days)
- natural immunity (via a PCR test result)
- a negative lateral flow and/or PCR test (taken within 48 hours of the fixture’s specified kick-off time)
- Exemptions from vaccination
Please see the guidance below on how you can obtain this proof.
PROOF OF VACCINATION
Ticket holders registered with a GP in England can display proof of full vaccination (second dose administered at least 14 days before) via the following:
- NHS App COVID Pass,
- COVID Pass via Apple Wallet,
- PDF version of the NHS COVID Pass or
- COVID Pass letter for people who are double vaccinated.
For more information on using the NHS App, click here.
If you live in Scotland, you can obtain your full vaccination status here.
If you live in Wales, you can obtain your full vaccination status by following the instructions here.
Ticket holders from outside the UK are not able to use the NHS App to obtain the NHS COVID pass but may provide proof of vaccination from the country they have been vaccinated provided it has been provided by the relevant authority from that country.
Please note: Vaccination cards given to the individuals on completion of their second vaccine dose will not be accepted as proof of full vaccination.
Those who have previously tested positive for COVID-19 but subsequently recovered from the infection are considered to have 6-months’ worth of natural immunity to significant reinfection. You will find this information underneath your NHS COVID Pass, labelled ‘View COVID-19 Records’. This should then show your positive PCR test within the last 6 months, which can then be used as a form of certification.
PROOF OF A NEGATIVE PCR/LATERAL FLOW TEST (LFT)
The PCR/lateral flow test needs to be taken within 48 hours of the kick-off time for the relevant fixture.
If you live in the United Kingdom, you can order your lateral flow tests for free here. Please follow the instructions used in your lateral flow kit to record the results with the NHS.
Negative lateral flow test results can be shown via the NHS App COVID Pass (only for individuals registered with a GP in England), or by showing a confirmation email or text message from NHS Test and Trace.
If you do not live in the UK but are here visiting, Lateral Flow Tests can be ordered to the address where you are staying via this link, or they can be picked from a local chemist (find your nearest pick up point here).Test results can then be uploaded to the NHS Self Report Tool, which will provide you with a confirmation email and text message which can be shown at the entry points.
There may be some circumstances where fans cannot safely demonstrate their COVID-19 status by taking a vaccination or a test.
Fans who have valid exemptions will not need to provide evidence of COVID Certification.
For international supporters from the EU and USA residents can show proof an approved European or USA vaccination programme as follows:
- EU – You need to show an EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate (EU DCC), showing you’ve had a full course of EMA or Swissmedic- approved vaccine in one of the listed European countries. You can show either a digital or paper certificate.
- US – Proof of an approved USA vaccination programme. You need to show a CDC card showing you’ve had a full course of an FDA-approved vaccine in the USA. You’ll also need to show proof of residency, such as a USA passport, visa, or Green Card.
International supporters who cannot show EU or USA proof of vaccination may need to provide proof of a negative lateral flow test.
