There was heartbreak on Thursday night as we suffered a late loss to Manchester City in the Subway Women's League Cup semi-final.
We fell behind in the first half to a Mary Fowler strike, but Mariona Caldentey's penalty levelled the scores in the second half. A third-consecutive League Cup final wasn't to be, however, as Fowler struck again for City in the dying seconds of the tie.
