We can confirm that Gio Queiroz has left Arsenal to complete a permanent transfer to Atletico Madrid.
Gio joined us from Barcelona in September 2022 and made her debut in our 9-0 win over Leeds United in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup on January 29, 2023. During her time with Arsenal, Gio made a total of 11 appearances for the club.
Gio joined Everton on loan ahead of the 2022/23 campaign and made a total of 11 appearances during her time on Merseyside, scoring one goal for the Toffees before re-joining us.
She then joined Liga F side Madrid CFF on loan for the 2023/24 season. This was her second spell at the club, where she made her senior debut at the age of 15.
