To coincide with the 2017 BDO Lakeside World Professional Darts Championships, Cooper Tire released its Football Darts film, featuring midfielder Granit Xhaka, winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Starting the game with a score of 301, the players had to aim the ‘dart balls’ at the giant dartboard in a race to zero, competing for the chance to be named Cooper’s Football Darts champion.
Cooper – our ‘Official Tyre’ partner– created a traditional darts setting for the players which featured a six metre tall, inflatable, Velcro dartboard. The game was refereed by a professional darts announcer, George Noble, from his chalk scoreboard and referee table made from two Cooper Zeon 4XS Sport tyres, the company’s latest SUV performance product.
Cech triumphs in the contest, as Xhaka finishes a close second.
