Caitlin Foord's superb solo strike against Chelsea has been selected as our Emirates Goal of the Month for October.
Our Australian international striker picked up 42% of the votes to finish in top spot, ahead of Ethan Nwaneri whose top corner finder against Preston North End came second, while Bukayo Saka's blast against Liverpool finished in the bronze medal position.
In the Emirates Stadium fixture, Caitlin received the ball from Emily Fox by the corner flag and attacked the goal. With just Lucy Bronze for company on the byline, Caitlin outwitted the Blues right-back with quick footwork and curled the ball beautifully past Hannah Hampton from a near-impossible angle. Her excellent effort was a contender for the WSL's division-wide Goal of the Month award.
This is the latest accolade for Caitlin, who has scooped our women's Player of the Month award for September and is in the running again for successive prizes.
