Emery - Why Everton will be more dangerous now

Unai Emery

Unai Emery feels we are in for a big test when we take on Everton this weekend following their surprise home defeat to West Ham.

Marco Silva's side head to north London having not won here in 24 matches, but our head coach knows exactly how much of a threat they are.
This is what Emery told the media ahead of the game:
on Everton’s start to the season…
They have a very big history and a good coach with good players too. Their start has been good with lots of good moments in their games, and other moments like in their last match against West Ham. They didn’t win that important match [against West Ham] but maybe this is why they can be more dangerous to us because they come here and need to show their supporters that they are better than the last match. They lost against West Ham and they want to show us, to show their supporters, that they can win here. We need to think about our performance and work hard with respect to Everton, knowing that they have good players and good tactics. We need to impose ourselves on the game.
on Marco Silva…
I played against his one team in Portugal, Estoril. I think that was five years ago. I looked when we were playing and this team were a very good, organised team and with very good coaches.
