Emery - The coaches that have inspired me

Having grown up in the Basque region, Unai Emery has always had a deep passion for footballing culture and coaching.

Our head coach has always looked to his peers for inspiration, but before all that there was one name in particular who had a big impact on him.

"I learned with every coach I had in my career," Emery told Arsenal Player. "For example, one who came to Spain and Real Sociedad, John Toshack. He's from Wales and really he transmitted to us a very deep culture from England in the football, in San Sebastian, in Real Sociedad.

"I learned a lot from him but I learned from a lot of coaches and we have very good examples with Guardiola, with Simeone, with Luis Enrique, with Jurgen Klopp.

"Really I watch a lot of work, of matches from other teams and other coaches to see how they can manage each moment and I learn and I use them to improve me."
