It has been confirmed that our FA Cup third-round tie against Oxford United will take place on Monday, January 9, kicking off at 8pm.
The match against the U's is one of six ties that have been selected for live broadcast in the UK, and will be shown on ITV1.
After beating Woking and Exeter City in their first two matches in the competition, Karl Robinson's team booked their place in the third round, meaning our quest to lift the trophy for the 15th time will begin at the Kassam Stadium against the League One outfit.
We last faced Oxford in the competition back in 2003 at the same stage, when we won 2-0 at Highbury thanks to a Dennis Bergkamp strike and an own goal, in what would prove to be our first step towards winning the competition that campaign.
