Arsenal in the Community hosted a special event at The Hub on Sunday, December 8 to raise awareness around gender-based violence.
The session was a collaboration with London’s Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), alongside specialist support organisation Advance and No More Red charity partner Abianda.
Participants engaged in a series of workshops, using football as a vehicle to explore issues of safety for young women.
The event was part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, a World Health Organisation (WHO) initiative that calls for an end to violence against women and girls.
