China charity day a success

Over 500 pieces of winter clothing, stationary and sports equipment were distributed at our recent charity event in Jiangxi, China.

Gunnersaurus attended Zhangshan Primary School to help give out the goods, which had been donated by the club and supporters across China.

112 primary school children benefitted from the morning which saw members of staff share the passion of supporting Arsenal, as well as providing much-needed equipment.

"This is the fifth charity program that we have done for children in rural areas of China in the past two years,” explained Arsenal Director of International Business Development in China & Asia, Tony Gu.

"It is great to see our members and supporters around China getting involved and donating thousands of clothes and sports equipment in the process.

"In the future we will do more work to support children that need our help in China."
