Campbell features in Betis win

Joel Campbell featured in Real Betis’ 2-0 win against Deportivo Alaves. Antonio Sanabria opened the scoring in the first half, while Alexis Delgado netted an own goal late on to earn Betis victory.

Kelechi Nwakeli came on for the final four minutes of VVV-Venlo’s 2-0 defeat at home to ADO Den Haag. Erik Falkenburg opened the scoring for the visitors, while Bjorn Johnsen added a second shortly before full time.

Stephy Mavididi came on shortly after the hour mark in Preston North End’s 3-2 defeat to Wolves at Molineux. Ivan Cavaleiro opened the scoring for the hosts shortly before the break, before Leo Bonatini struck twice more. Preston made a comeback through Jordan Hugill and an own goal from Conor Coady, but it proved to be too little too late.

Takuma Asano played 65 minutes for Stuttgart in their 1-0 loss at RB Leipzig, who took the three points thanks to Marcel Sabitzer’s first-half goal.

Lucas came on in the 87th minute for Deportivo la Coruna in their 0-0 draw with Eibar away from home.

Marc Bola was an unused substitute for Bristol Rovers in their 1-0 defeat at Rochdale.
