Caitlin Foord on her first Arsenal hat trick

Four sensational goals from Caitlin Foord helped us cruise to victory over Rangers in the UEFA Women's Champions League qualifiers.

Match ball in tow, our Aussie winger spoke pitchside after the full-time whistle to give her reflection on the performance.

"I’m extremely happy - obviously to get the win tonight but then to do my job and put the ball in the back of the net a few times is a bonus."

"To put four away and a hat-trick in Arsenal colours, my first one - I’m really happy about that. At the end of the day, I just wanted to do my job and I did that tonight."

With five of our goals coming in the second half, it took some patience to break down the Scottish side.

"I think we had pretty good control in the first half, it was just about tiring them down and staying ruthless. I think we did that in the second half, it opened up for us and we put away with our chances.

Now our focus turns to the weekend with Rosenborg standing between us and a place in Round 2 of the UWCL qualifiers.

"We’re in for a tough game on Saturday as well. They got the win over Atletico [Madrid] today and we know they’re a tough opponent. It’s going to be a good match-up and we’re looking forward to it."
