Blue Badge Car Parking Permits

Q. What happens after I have submitted my application for Blue Badge parking?
A. If your application for Blue Badge parking is successful, the Disability Liaison Team (DLT) will confirm by email that you have been allocated a permit.  If you do not have an email address, please call the DLT on 020 7619 5000 Option 2 (Monday – Friday 9.30am until 5.00pm) no later than one week before the match for an update on your application.

Your confirmation email will also provide information on how the car park operates on a matchday, including car park opening and closing times. Please ensure that you read this information carefully.

Approximately a week before the game you will receive your parking permit in the post. Please note that in periods where there are several games within a short timescale, permits may be held for collection on the day of the game.

Your permit will show the date of the game and the area in the car park that you have been allocated e.g., Green One. The permit will also include your car registration number.

Q. What happens if my application for Blue Badge parking is unsuccessful?
A. We will advise you via email that you are on the waiting list for a suitable cancellation. If you do not have an email address, please call the Disability Liaison Team on 020 7619 5000 Option 2 (Monday – Friday 9.30am until 5.00pm) no later than one week before the match for an update on your application.

Q. What should I do if my permit does not arrive in the post?
A. If you have been advised that your application has been successful and you have not received your parking permit 3 working days before the game, please contact the Disability Liaison Team on 020 7619 5000 Option 2 (Monday – Friday 9.30am until 5.00pm).  We will arrange a duplicate permit to be issued, which you can collect at the car park entrance on the day of the game.

Q. What happens if I need to change my car registration information?
A. If your allocated permit is incorrect or you need to notify us of a change of car registration, you must contact us at least 3 working days before the game by calling 020 7619 5000 Option 2 (Monday – Friday 9.30am until 5.00pm). Failure to do so will result in the Security team not allowing you to use the car park for that match.

Q. I no longer require my Blue Badge car parking permit.  How do it cancel it?
A. The car park generally runs at maximum capacity and we operate a waiting list for when cancellations occur.  Therefore, if you are offered a parking permit and you are unable to attend the match, you must inform the Disability Liaison Team (DLT) on 020 7619 5000 Option 2 (Monday – Friday 9.30am until 5.00pm), or let us know by submitting details via our Enquiry Form selecting Disability>Blue Badge Parking so we can reallocate the space.

The latest times cancellations can be made are as follows:

  • Weekend games - before 11.00 a.m. on the Wednesday before the Saturday/Sunday game
  • Monday games – before 11.00 am on the Thursday before the game.
  • Mid-week games before 11.00 am 3 working days before the game.

Please note that if your space is unoccupied and you have not informed the DLT beforehand, you may not be offered parking at Emirates Stadium in the future. Regular checks will be made during the season on car park usage.

Q. I am unwell on the day of the game.  Should I still let you know I will not be using my car Blue Badge car parking permit?
A. You should still let us know that you will not be using your allocated permit.  If the game is on Saturday/Sunday, please call 020 7619 5000 and the Fan Services Team will pass on your message to the Disability Matchday Team.

Q. The disabled supporter is unable to attend the game.  I am still going but I am not disabled, can I use the Blue Badge car parking permit instead?
A. Unfortunately, the permit is issued for the sole use of the Blue Badge holder.   Please let us know if they are unable to attend the game as the permit is non-transferable and you cannot use their Blue Badge permit.

Q. Where can I park if the car park is full?
A. With a valid Blue Badge you can park in one of the surrounding roads using a vacant residents parking bay. However, you should check to make sure the bay concerned is not suspended because of the event day road closures around Emirates Stadium.  There are also several dedicated Blue Badge bays in the area which are specifically for the use of a designated Blue Badge holder.  Please check the Blue Badge parking signage carefully before you park.

Q. Do you offer seasonal Blue Badge car parking permits?
A. We do offer seasonal car parking permits to Blue Badge holders who are Season Tickets holders.  If you currently book Blue Badge parking and you are a Season Ticket holder, you can apply to go on the waiting list by submitting a request via our Enquiry Form

Matchday Car Park Operation

Q. Will I be allocated a specific Blue Badge parking bay in Emirates Stadium?
A. In line with the policy for non-Blue Badge permit holders, we do not allocate a particular numbered bay. Instead, you will be able to park in any Blue Badge bay, within your allotted area of the car park e.g., Green 1 ONLY.

Q. Will I need to exit the car park to get to the seated area?
A. You will be able to access the seated area from the car park via one of nine lifts. Stewards are on hand to direct/assist you if required.

Q. Will the Blue Badge parking bay be close to my seat?
A. Matchday parking is allocated on a first come, first served basis and we will try to allocate you a space as close as possible to your seats.  However, if we are unable to arrange this, we will offer you a bay in a nearby section of the car park.

Q. How do I get to my seat?
A. Once you vacate your car, please leave the car park immediately by using the nearest lift (stewards will be on hand to direct you).  Please return to your vehicle via the same route after the game.

Q. I need to collect tickets from the Box/Ticket Collection Office.  Should I do this before I enter the car park?
A. Please arrange to collect any tickets before you enter the car park, as your tickets will need to be validated on entry to the car park.

Q. Can I visit the shops/restaurants outside the ground before the start of the match and how do I re-enter the ground to get to my seat?
A. If you would like to exit the car park to access The Armoury or local restaurants, please leave the car park via the staff entrance between ‘Green 1 & 2’ car parks. You will need to use the turnstile entrance highlighted on your match ticket to access your seat.  Please note that you will not be able to re-enter the car park via this access route until after the game.

Q. Can I return to my car during the game?
A. Once parked, please ensure that you take with you all the belongings that you might need while you are in the stadium (including any medication). This is because once you have left the car park you will NOT be allowed to return to your vehicle until after the game. Please speak to a steward if you require emergency access to your vehicle.

Q. Will I need to display my parking permit and Blue Badge in the car park?
A. Please ensure that your parking permit and Blue Badge are clearly displayed on your dashboard.

Q. Is there a speed limit/one way system in the car park?
A. It is very important for the safety and security of all those who use the car park on matchdays, that drivers observe the speed limit and follow the correct directions when entering or leaving the car park.

Whichever area of the car park your vehicle is parked in you MUST follow the one-way system to exit the car park.

Please note that failure to follow the above instructions may result in the Disability Liaison Team not allowing you to book matchday parking in the future.

Q. How long after the game do I have to wait before the car park reopens to exit Emirates Stadium?
A. The roads may not reopen for up to 45 minutes after the end of the game. Once the road closures have been lifted, a tannoy announcement will let you know that the car park is open so that you can exit the stadium.

Engines MUST remain switched off until after the car park is open announcement. Please note that failure to follow the above instructions may result in the Disability Liaison Team not allowing you to book matchday parking in the future.
