Bellerin's Spain reach U-21 final

All three of our representatives at the Under-21 European Championship in Poland were involved in Tuesday night’s fixtures.

Scroll down to find out how they fared:

Hector Bellerin played the full 90 minutes as Spain won 3-1 against Italy to book their place in the final. Saul gave Spain the lead eight minutes into the second half, before Roberto Gagliardini picked up a red card for Italy. Federico Bernadeschi levelled the scores, before two more strikes from Saul ensured Spain’s progression.

Calum Chambers played the full 90 minutes as England were eliminated on penalties against Germany. The game finished 2-2 after extra-time, with Davie Selke opening the scoring. Demarai Gray and Tammy Abraham turned the game on its head, but Felix Platte’s header took the game to extra-time. Nathan Redmond missed the decisive fifth spot-kick as Germany booked their place in the final.

Rob Holding was an unused substitute.
