It has been quite a start to life at Arsenal for Aaron Ramsdale.
Our goalkeeper has just been named Player of the Month for the second time in succession, and his force of personality has been noticeable for all.
So when did Mikel Arteta see just how big a character Ramsdale would be?
“The day I spoke with him for the first time on the phone!” our manager said.
“That is when I realised he had a special personality and was going to fit in really well with what we are trying to do, and the way we want our players to behave.
“That would be good [if some attackers start to win Player of the Month now] - if the attackers are making us win football matches that would be very welcome.”
