Former Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta and current club captain Martin Odegaard recently sat down with Fly Emirates to discuss all things captaincy.
Mikel served as Gunners captain from 2014 until his retirement in 2016, while Martin has been the current skipper since July 2022.
As well as talking about the importance of wearing the armband, they shared their thoughts on what home means to them, with Mikel describing his hometown of San Sebastian as a city he is very emotionally attached to.
Mikel and Martin both have some holiday destinations that they enjoy flying to with Fly Emirates as well!
