Our Division One-winning side of 1988/89 is celebrated in a new documentary out this month.
89 tells the incredible story of one of football’s greatest triumphs: when against all odds we snatched the title from Liverpool in the final minute of the season.
Mixing archive and previously unseen footage with revealing interviews, insights and memories from the original squad, match officials, famous fans and the people who were there on the night, this is the definite account of a watershed moment in football.
It premiered at ODEON Holloway Road on November 8, with members of that illustrious squad in attendance along with a host of famous fans such as comedian Alan Davies, who hosted an exclusive question and answer session with our former players in front of a live audience.
89 will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and digital from November 20.
