The Arsenal Fans’ Forum held its first virtual meeting of the season on Wednesday with Chief Executive Vinai Venkatesham and other senior members of Arsenal staff in attendance.
Forum Chair Mark Gonnella welcomed new members Ben Buckstone (Red), Jake Coare (Silver) and Draco Wang (Ethnic Minority).
Vinai explained it had been a busy summer with a lot of change and continued adaptation to the COVID-19 protocols. Following the successful end to last season he said the mood was optimistic and positive and everyone is looking forward to a successful campaign.
Other topics discussed at the meeting included how Technical Director Edu and Manager Mikel Arteta are working together, our process for signing players and the make up and role of the Arsenal board. There were also questions from members relating to Junior Gunners and Silver Memberships.
Forum members were also given more information about the Arsenal Foundation’s Coaching for Life programme and a sub-group will be created to see how fans can get involved in supporting this ground-breaking work.
