Arsenal Diary: What’s in store this week

It's a big week for our men's team as we face Manchester United and Fulham in a Premier League double-header, while our women's team return to action after a fortnight off for the last international break of the year. 

As for our academy, they'll be kicking off their FA Youth Cup campaign on Tuesday night, so it's going to be a busy week in store on Arsenal.com and the official app - here is what you can expect.

Tuesday

1.30pm - Mikel Arteta pre-match press conference

After a busy weekend of action, the Premier League continues and Mikel Arteta will deliver his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Manchester United.

We will be broadcasting the press conference live on Arsenal.com but you will also be able to read everything the boss had to say before our crunch fixture at the Emirates Stadium.

Women's internationals

A total of 18 players from our squad are away on international duty, including four representing England, who face Switzerland in a friendly at Bramall Lane in Sheffield.

A host of our stars are taking part in UEFA Euro 2025 qualifiers as Ireland, Sweden, Norway and Austria all aim to book a spot in the competition.

We will keep you up to date with how everyone got on during the international break before the return of the Barclays Women's Super League.

7pm - Herford Town U18s v Arsenal U18s

FAYC CUP

Our under-18s will play Hertford Town under-18s in the third round of the FA Youth Cup at Hertford's Hertingfordbury Park home.

We’re entering the competition in the third round, while Hertford reached this stage with a 4-3 win over Bristol Rovers last Tuesday.

We made it to the final of the competition in the 2022/23 season with a number of players who have since progressed to the under-21s and first team.

WEDNESDAY

8.15pm - Arsenal v Manchester United

There's a huge contest in N5 under lights on Wednesday as we take on Manchester United under new coach Ruben Amorim.

The match will be shown live in thee UK on Amazon Prime, but supporters will also have the opportunity to listen to the match on Arsenal.com by tuning into Live From N5 on desktop or the official app.

FRIDAY

1.30pm - Mikel Arteta press conference

Our manager will be back in front of the media at Sobha Realty Training Centre for his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Fulham. 

You will be able to watch the whole press conference live on Arsenal.com or you can read all of the quotes from Mikel Arteta afterwards.

2.45pm - Renee Slegers press conference

Our women’s interim head coach will also look ahead to the return of domestic football and our game against the Villians.

Again, this will be streamed live on our channels.

SUNDAY

2pm - Fulham v Arsenal

Craven Cottage

Our second men's game of a busy week comes against Fulham at Craven Cottage from 2pm live on Sky Sports.

2pm - Arsenal Women v Aston Villa

Our women return to action following the international break with a home clash against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.

After a fortnight break, we return to N5. For supporters not attending the match can follow the action on the new WSL YouTube channel.
