Arsenal Under-18s were beaten 3-2 by Aston Villa despite coming from behind twice.

Keinan Davies put the hosts ahead with a composed finish before Nathan Tella showed lovely skill to equalise.

Davies restored the Villains lead when he hammered past Hugo Keto from outside the box.

Eddie Nketiah levelled the scores in the second half but substitute Liam Hailey scored the winner for Villa 10 minutes from the end.

Yassin Fortune returned to the starting XI while Frans De Kat named Joe Willock in a central midfield role behind Nketiah.

Davies raced through on goal 10 minutes into the game to put the hosts in front with a composed finish.

Tella levelled the scores three minutes later when he turned his marker inside out and fired into the bottom corner.

Before the interval, Aston Villa capitalised on a poor clearance and Davies found himself with time to turn on the edge of the box and strike past Keto.

Willock produced a wonderful piece of skill to lose his marker and thread an inch perfect pass through to Nketiah, who rounded the keeper and slotted into the empty net.

However, there was a late twist when Hailey found space to place the ball into the bottom corner from outside the box.
