Ellen White's first-half strike ensured Arsenal Ladies a safe route through to the quarter-finals of the FA Women's Cup at Lincoln on Sunday.
White struck in the 16th minute to claim victory for Laura Harvey's side, who welcomed back Alex Scott after re-joining the Club alongside Kelly Smith on Friday.
Harvey named a strong line-up for the tie, relying largely on last season's treble-winning players.
Arsenal started brightly and could have taken the lead through Kim Little after just 10 minutes, only for Lady Imps goalkeeper Nicola Hobbs to turn the ball away expertly.
But it did not take long for the visitors to edge ahead. Danielle Carter found White in space and the England international's shot squirmed in off the hands of Hobbs.
Steph Houghton's dangerous cross almost made it two soon after, but the crossbar came to the hosts' rescue on this occasion.
Arsenal held the lead at the break and defended well throughout the second period to keep Lincoln at bay and book their place in the last eight.
