It's 'as you were' in the Women's Premier League title race as Arsenal Ladies and Everton both registered victories on Sunday.
Everton kept up the pressure on the champions with a 1-0 win at Watford but Vic Akers' side maintained their tight grip on top spot by beating Bristol Academy 3-0.
Goals from Kim Little, Katie Chapman and Suzanne Grant were enough for three more points at Boreham Wood FC. Arsenal are still eight clear of Everton having played three games more.
Little's opener came from the penalty spot after Jayne Ludlow was pulled down in the box from an Arsenal corner. Little stepped up and calmly put her spot-kick away.
After a slow start, Arsenal picked up the tempo and began to create chances. They got their reward when Ciara Grant floated in a free kick and Chapman flicked her header over the keeper and into the net.
Ciara Grant went close to adding a third after the break when her header flew narrowly over the crossbar but the points were secured with another penalty. This time Gemma Davison was impeded and Suzanne Grant slotted her spot-kick into the net.
