Arsenal Ladies breezed into the FA Women's Cup Final with a
5-1 mauling of Lincoln City on Sunday.

The game was effectively ended as contest inside the opening 26
minutes as Kelly Smith and Lianne Sanderson both notched a
brace.

Vic Akers' side were cruising and paid the penalty for a
slipping into casual mode when Sophie Baker hit back on 33 minutes.
It was a strike to grace any occasion and optimised Lincoln's
undoubted spirit - a strength that saw them upset the odds in the
previous round against Blackburn Rovers.

Their pride slightly restored, the North Division side defended
resolutely until the 80th minute. Wales international Jayne Ludlow,
who scored twice in last season's showpiece, registered the
final goal of the game to round of a largely faultless and
professional display by the Gunners.
