Arsenal Ladies recorded their fourth win in 10 days with a 4-1
victory at Everton on Sunday.
Striker Julie Fleeting opened the scoring. Kelly Smith's
20-yard drive then put Arsenal in control before Fleeting added her
second and Arsenal's third.
Vic Akers' side conceded their first League goal when Fara
Williams converted a late penalty.
However the Everton and England midfielder then gave away a
spot-kick at the other end, allowing Lianne Sanderson to complete
the scoring.
The result sees the Ladies move two-points clear at the top of
the Women's Premier League, ahead of Charlton. The Addicks lost
ground with a goalless draw against Blackburn Rovers.
