Folarin Balogun in action for Arsenal

Nine of our players were in action last week for their respective loan clubs.

Read on to find out how they performed:

Folarin Balogun made his Middlesbrough debut, coming on in the 67th minute as Chris Wilder's side beat Reading 2-1. Matt Crooks scored twice to turn the game around for Boro after Andy Carroll had put Reading in front. The win leaves Middlesbrough sixth in the Championship after 26 matches.

Lucas Torreira had a busy week, featuring twice for Fiorentina. Our midfielder played 90 minutes of the Italian side's 4-0 defeat to Torino, before featuring for the full 120 minutes as they beat Napoli 5-2 after extra time in a Coppa Italia last-16 thriller.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles was subbed off deep into stoppage time as Roma beat Cagliari 1-0 courtesy of Sergio Oliveira's first-half goal. The win leaves Jose Mourinho's side sixth in Serie A after 22 matches.

Hector Bellerin played 39 minutes before being brought off with an injury as Real Betis beat Sevilla 2-1 in the Copa del Rey last-16. The game had been rearranged from the previous day after Sevilla's Joan Jordan was struck by an object thrown from the crowd.
