During an assembly hosted by Arsenal in the Community, Gunnersaurus popped in to help deliver a surprise announcement. Gunner’s big surprise was the news that JG Charlie, had been selected at random from our pool of Junior Gunners, to be our mascot for the FA Cup Quarter Final match against Lincoln City!
Charlie was called up in front of his class mates and presented with all of his mascot gear; including tickets for his family to attend the match and see him in action, and a full Arsenal kit to wear whilst performing his duties. As our mascot, Charlie will get the chance to visit the first team dressing room, and will escort the players onto the pitch ahead of kick-off.
Once Charlie had gotten over the shock of the announcement, he said he was really excited and had been really hoping it would be his name that got called out as the mascot!
