On Thursday, August 17th, Junior Gunners returned to Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire, for our biggest summer event.
We invited over 200 JGs and their families to join us for a day out on Arsenal. Our JGs were treated to a whole host of different activities in the exclusive Junior Gunners area. We had inflatable football games, skills sessions with Arsenal Soccer Schools, a photo opportunity with the FA Cup and Community Shield, ride on zebras, arts & crafts, face painters, balloon makers... the list goes on.
We also brought the JG app world to life. We gave our JG attendees the chance to attend a Pocket Player Workshop, teaching them to draw their own caricature as a Pocket Player. We also hid five of the Arsenal Player's Pocket Players in the park. If our JGs were able to track down all five, they were entered into a draw to win a signed item.
As well as being able to get stuck into all of our Arsenal activities, the families were treated to full access to the whole of the park, giving them the chance to catch a glimpse of all kinds of animals and creatures. Gunnersaurus proved to be a big success with the monkeys!
