Walter Lawrence

Walter Lawrence spent just over a season at Arsenal in the early 20th century.

The inside forward joined as an amateur from Crystal Palace in May 1909 before signing professional terms nine days later.

After a full pre-season he made his league debut in a goalless draw against Sheffield United and started 26 matches in the 1909/10 campaign.

The attacker scored five goals before re-joining Crystal Palace in the summer of 1910.
