Roddy McEachrane arrived at Arsenal from West Ham United in May 1902 having initially moved to England to work at Thames Ironworks shipbuilding yard.
After making his league debut against Preston North End in September 1902, the left half helped Arsenal to seal promotion from Division Two when they finished as runners-up in the 1903/04 season.
McEachrane stayed at the Club following promotion and made his final senior appearance against Birmingham in November 1913 before the outbreak of the First World War brought his career to an end at the end of the 1914/15 season.
In total, McEachrane made 313 league appearances for Arsenal, in addition to a further 33 in the FA Cup. Despite making almost 350 senior appearances, he did not score during his 13-year career at the Club.
